Frequently Asked Questions
Find answrs to common questions about our safari packages and travelling in Uganda.
Uganda is a year-round destination, but the dry seasons (June–September and December–February) are ideal for game drives and gorilla trekking. The wet seasons bring lush scenery and fewer tourists, making them great for birdwatching.
Gorilla trekking can be moderately challenging as it involves hiking through forests and uneven terrain for 2–6 hours. However, visitors of different fitness levels complete it successfully, and we always assign a trek suited to your ability with the help of rangers and porters.
A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry. Other recommended vaccinations include Typhoid, Hepatitis A & B, and Tetanus. We also advise taking anti-malarial medication—please consult your doctor or travel clinic for personalized advice.
